1. This is a real smart investment to protect your ipad. When new, it had a faint plasticy smell but this went away quickly and then it was fine. I wish I knew about this case before I purchase the over priced and flimsy apple case. I am constantly being asked where I purchased the case from. They think it is from apple because I put the apple sticker that comes with the iPad on front. You won’t be sorry you purchased this product. I highly recommend it. This is an outstanding case for the iPad. I carry my iPad with me every where. This case protects it well and looks good. A much better product and value than the apple case.

2. This appears to be imitation leather instead of real leather as represented.
   The price was reduced by $6. right after this purchase was made.

3. This was recommended by a friend and I find the quality high and the value excellent.

4. This case is way better than most. Easily props to watch movies or read. I love it. The only thing I don’t like us the color of the stripe on the outside but that’s not really important to me.

After reading several reviews about this particular case and knowing that what I wanted was a versatile case that would provide different, yet firm angles for viewing content on my iPad, I was certain I found the ideal solution. The pictures illustrate perfectly the design and features of this case, again exactly in line with what I’ve determined to be my requirements.

   However what the pictures are simply unable to show is (a) the metal snap tab that secures the case closed cannot do so with the iPad inserted. The strap had to be pulled quite a bit to then secure the case, noticeably stretching the front cover material.

   Now (b) on material, from the pictures it looks good, in fact sitting on my desk and from across the room the same, good. However the scent of the material was far too much to handle that we had to remove it from the office area. I thought it being new the scent would go away, but three days later it went down a little. Being that I plan on carrying this case while traveling with, it simply isn’t something I want to have close to me.

   Overall such a disappointment and shame because the design and concept were perfect! Just the quality of materials and craftsmanship fell so short. I almost wished I had real leather to cover this entire thing then all would be good.

   For some people this case maybe fantastic (please see other reviews) and what you may be looking for in an inexpensive case. But it wasn’t the solution for me.
