I have this computer, it’s a basic no frills model, but it works well(don’t expect it to play intense games). It has no bluetooth or HDMI out port and Iv’e noticed it’s slow to open web pages compared to my 2007 iMAC. I bought it for three fifty from another vendor while on sale, I think the amazon price is fair but you can do better if you search around(make sure to get the dual core version). Not much else to add other than windows 7 is so much better for low spec computers than vista, if you are searching for a cheap laptop make sure it has 7. For the price I recommend it.

Be very careful when ordering this item through Amazon. Once you put your order in you can no longer modify it until it’s shipped (too late!).

I ordered this item and used their free shipping. After I ordered I realized I needed it a lot sooner since it was for someone else. I tried to change the shipping method but alas. It was too late. The site said that my order was being processed and there was no available changes that could be made.

I waited and waited. 4 days later I could do some modifications already. I could now return the item. It has been shipped already. Luckily I was able to get it at a timely date. 2 days after it was actually shipped.

As for the actual laptop. Well you get a little bit more than what you pay for. It’s fairly cheap. The keyboard layout is a little messed up so for heavy writers I wouldn’t fully recommend it. I’d recommend it for accountants or teachers since it has a separate section on the keyboard for numbers. Similar to that of a desktop. You can actually work on numbers a lot faster.

RAM, HD space, and other basic features are good for the money. It has a built in webcam.

If I was a stickler for details I’d say it needed an extra usb slot or 2. 2 is not enough. Also it doesn’t come with a manual so hopefully you know your way around a computer / laptop already.

I’ve had this Laptop for 2yrs now and I would recommend the Toshiba models to anyone who is looking for a fully-loaded, quality, priced-right Laptop. This Laptop is quality and I am very pleased from day one. I do not even use my desktop PC anymore. I appreciate the large keys because it seems like I’m using a regular size keyboard. I am using Vista and I haven’t had any problems because after reading all the reviews I realized I needed no less than 2GB RAM. I highly recommend the Toshiba models because the price is competitive with the other models and you will get the value for your money. I recently got an Acer for my mother in February 2010, but that was because of budget–the Toshiba had the seem specs but it cost nearly $200 more. I was really pleased with the Acer too. Personality I would prefer the Toshiba any day.
