1. I give this product 2 stars because it is thin and works well as a stand. The problem is the sharp weld that goes around the entire edge which digs into one’s hands. There is simply no comfortable way to hold an iPad in this case. I can still feel the indentation in my hand from holding it 15 minutes ago. The other problem is that it takes a major effort to remove the iPad from the case which eliminates the possibility switching between use with and without the case. Apple should never have approved this atrocity.

2. I had been in search for the perfect iPad case since I got my iPad last June 5. I have already purchased at least 4 cases until I finally bought this case from Apple. At first, I thought this was it – the perfect iPad case, being light and really thin! Not to mention the framing of the slot which holds the iPad itself is also thin, it shows of a lot of the screen surface. But after using it for two hours, I found out that the material which the case is made of easily catches dirt. After a while, the case looked really old and worn out. For me, that’s a downer. But the case can be easily cleaned with baby wipes. I just hate it so much that I have to clean it often…. Another thing is that when you put the iPad to an upright position like when you need to watch a video or a movie, the stand is not really very stable. The angle that the stand makes, when you type, is perfect, though! So far, I am still using this case…. I guess I am still waiting for a better iPad case to come along….

3. Amazon pricing for many many many of the apple iPad accessories should be illegal! What a price gouge! The product itself is solid but go buy it at the Apple store and forget Amazon on this one unless you have a money tree in your backyard. $39 at the Apple store vs $60+ on Amazon…whatevs

4. Very nice iPad matching style, seamless and any iPad without it is lacking the look it deserves. Though a bit expensive, but worth it. It is so sleek and slim that makes it look and feel as a part of the iPad.

5. Before I bought the Apple-branded case for the iPad, I read and watched a ton of reviews. I came to the conclusion that one case will not meet all needs. In a perfect world, I would buy two cases – one slender case for everyday use (this one), and one case that is more protective and about the thickness of a padfolio.

   I have no difficulty removing my iPad from the case. And, complaints about the case looking dirty are unfounded. It looks dirty when it is dirty. Simply wipe the case with a slightly damp cloth and it looks brand new again.

   The tab on the back of the case is perfect for propping up the screen (landscape) for viewing or typing. And it also works for standing up (portrait) for viewing.
