Here’s hoping this time works. This is the third time that I have brought this product in the last 3 years. It has become an annual experience. I keep trying because I need a simple phone without an adaptor. The problem seems to be that the features time out regardless of new batteries.

Good size and design. One problem is that the screen is not illuminated. It cannot be read in normal light.

Bought as a replacement phone at my office.

    Price is very reasonable.

It does all that I need: hold, speaker phone, auto dial, caller ID, good sound, easy ringer off, etc.

I am very happy with this purchase.

I find this phone so far pretty good. I was a bit concerned about the review which says “MUTE button kills the deal” . I disagree with it. I tried different scenarios to check Mute problem but so far I haven’t come across this problem. After reading that review I didn’t buy online I bought it from a local store.

PROS: I like the thick handset.
speakerphone good, catches even very low voice.
I like the feeling when you push the buttons on phone.
    good looks.
good features, quality in this price range.
MUTE button on the other side getting noise doesn’t seem to be problem.

CONS: too much battery usage.(for speakphone and speakerphone button light, mute, call info LED light, LCD display)
when you get a call or make call “call info” light blinks all the time.
    That’s why I’ll give 4 stars.

The main reason we got this is so that we would have a good quality speaker phone (old speakerphones were not good). The headset quality is fine, but the speakerphone quality is just not quite there. Especially if you contrast this to the built-in microphone quality on some of our computers, this is really not good at all.

On the plus side, it automatically hangs up if you’re on speakerphone after the other person hangs up, so that’s convenient. And other than that it’s a decent phone.
