    I have subjected Belkin’s laptop bag to all sorts of weather; careless storage in overhead compartments in planes; dropped it a couple of times. No damage to my PC.

    Plus this bag has room for papers, a mouse, cables and a battery. A well-designed bag!

    I’m happy with every other feature of this case. Lots of pockets for cables or a 2.5 HDD, nice interior lining, and I love the accented exterior pocket for the non-computer stuff (checkbook, keys, etc) The casual styling is very nice, and the exterior is very sturdy without being a dirt magnet. It’s a very comfortable every-day laptop bag.

    But the zipper popping/breaking after less than six months is utterly unacceptable, and drowns out all of those 5-star rated features I’ve listed above. The case may have been inexpensive, but it wasn’t worth the risk of having your contents spill out in a stairwell like I did.

    I’m RMAing the case back to Belkin, but have serious reservations about using what they’ll replace it with.

    Update 6/22: Belkin replaced the case no questions asked and did it very quickly. (1 week) That kind of support is worth at least a couple of stars. Will try the bag again packed with slightly less stuff.

    Does what it’s supposed to, mainly carry around a laptop and accessories. Asus 16″ fits snugly into pocket. Handy assortment of pockets and the pouch for cords is great. Can’t take off shoulder strap, no big deal but would have tucked under airplane seat easier with strap tucked away. You could tuck it into back pouch if it wasn’t full of stuff already. This color was about half the price of other colors making it a very good deal.

    It was available on a deal,or at least a very good price. It is a casual item not for the business person, but for someone like me who is looking for protection for mobile electronics and will work with a cord jacket or a Goretex parka.
    Nice construction, quality consistant with the brand.

    This bag is amazing. Great construction, great looks, and most importantly, great fit! I purchased a Targus 12″ laptop/netbook bag for my HP TX2510 (which is a 12.5″ tablet) and found that it didn’t fit at all! So I bumped up to this bag and it fits perfectly with a little wiggle room. I even have the extended battery in my laptop and it fits without a problem.

    Got papers? Put em in the nylon sleeve or segregated front pocket.
    Got pens? There are slots for them too, and a really nice built-in pen case on the top.
    Got a cord? It comes with a separate pouch!
    Don’t want to use the carry strap? It tucks away into a convenient pocket on the back when not needed!

    All in all, this bag is perfect for my morning commute for papers and laptop and fits very nicely on my lap. I recommend it for anyone with a smaller sized laptop that is too big for “netbook” sized bags.
