Full Description

Take the traditional back pack to the next level with a slim sling bag. The Sling Bag has compartments for everything from pens, business cards, credit cards, power supply and your other notebook accessories. Also, there is a separate removable pouch for your power supply coordinates with your bag and contrasts for easy identification. The cell phone pocket provides quick access while providing protection with plush scratch-free fabric whereas the shoulder strap and back-side of the sling bag has extra padding and breathable mesh for maximum support and comfort. A SnapClip is used that allows quick access to your sling bag. There is also a convient headphone grommet that provides access to your MP3 player while keeping it safe and stored in a secure pocket. The Sling Bag also features a plush fabric in the notebook compartment to prevent scratches and damage to your notebook’s surface.

    This laptop bag is simply the best bang for the buck. I bought a jet/cabernet one for my 13″ Macbook Pro about a year ago, and I have nothing but great things to say about it. It’s well padded, stylish, and very economical. The bag itself it made of super durable cloth, and the plastic buckle on the front is super heavy polymer. Also, the back of the bag (the part that rests against your back has a hard plate built into it that helps keep the bag rigid as it sets on your back. It even comes with an extra smaller bag to hold your power supply in. I have a couple of friends who tote their laptops in bags that they’ve paid $100 for, and they think mine is every bit as good as theirs. My little Macbook fits nicely into the bag with very little movement, but I believe the bag would fit any 15″ laptop like a glove. Still, I have no complaints about how it fits mine. My fiance was super impressed with the bag, and always joked how she was going to steal it from me. So I ordered her the Chocolate/Tourmaline one for her 13″ Macbook. She’s just as content as I am. As mentioned by others, this bag is NOT made to carry a ton of extra stuff. Mine comfortably holds my laptop, power supply, two notebooks, pens and pencils, and a clip board. So don’t expect to even put much more into it than that. So, in conclusion:

    The Good: Probably the best value for any sling bag out there. Stylish design, while also being super durable. Offers great protection for a laptop without being bulky.

    The Bad: It won’t hold a lot of stuff…but then again you are ordering a laptop bag…not a backpack. Also, I’m not sure if it would fit a 17″ laptop, but other reviewers might know if you take the time to read their reviews.

    Overall, I swear by this bag and would happily recommend it to anyone who is in need for a convenient way to transport their laptop.

    ***UPDATE*** Other reviewers have mentioned that a 17″ Macbook Pro would fit in the bag, however the Macbook Pro is pretty thin in comparison to other 17″ laptops on the market. I hope this provides a little more insight.

    Also, contrary to some negative reviewers; the zippers on my bag have given me no trouble at all. I think that over-stuffing the bag could definitely cause some issues with the zippers. Hope this all helps…

    I purchased this bag to carry my 15.4 inch Mac Book Pro to and from school. Initially, I was very happy with the bag, but within a week there were several problems. First, the zipper to the laptop storage section of the bag separated from the material in two places less than a week after I received the bag. With each successive use the tears have gotten bigger, and now (three months later) I can no longer use the bag with confidence.

    I also find the clasp on the over-shoulder strap to be cumbersome and difficult to operate, especially when the bag needs to be removed and put back on often, such as when riding the subway and switching trains.

    This may be an acceptable bag for someone who a) will not use the backpack often, and (b carries only a laptop and very few other items, but I don’t recommend for those that are commuting often and need to carry a laptop and books together.

    Black w/ red accent coloring. Lots of great pockets. Perfect for freeing up your hand while walking. If your looking for a comfortable sling bag that will protect your laptop this is the bag for you.

    I purchased this to take my laptop on vacation…. Not only does it fit my computer wonderfully, but it has alot of space for other things to make it the perfect plane carry-on….

    Great looking bag that keeps a slim profile. Ample space considering the design. Keep laptop and adaptor, plus notepad and bible without crushing anything. Feels as sturdy as other bags without looking like every other backpack.
