Far and away the worst router I’ve used. Rarely picks up a signal from the modem (which my other router does no problem, as do multiple computers if plugged in directly to the cable modem). The rare times it is connected, it constantly boots off wireless devices. Terrible unit.

Caution: In my opinion the rebate attached to this item to receive a “Wireless USB Adapter” is Bogus. I placed my order and then followed the procedure to submit the rebate online. After the third page (after divulging my personal information on the rebate form) where it should be possible to print out the rebate page I got a stack dump error screen. I contacted Worldwide Rebates and was informed that “only” Internet Explorer” can be used to claim the rebate and that no other browser can be used. I then contacted Belkin at the number that Amazon provided and was told that they are “Unaware” of this rebate.

I’ve purchased four different Belkin Routers in the past year. They have all failed miserably. I was faced with frequent disconnects; and after each disconnect I was unable to reconnect to the internet. Way too many problems with these routers for me to waste time going into. The customer service is awful too. Please take my word for it and stay away from Belkin!

I got this n router to replace a Netgear g router that locked up when run at higher than b speeds. The setup was not as easy as the Netgear routers, but that may be due to familiarity with Netgear’s interface. The signal strength is weaker than the signal I got from my g router (which was running at b), so I don’t get full g speed on my g devices, but it’s still faster than b. Also, I was not able to use my USB HDD because the router does not provide enough power, so I’ll either need to buy a power cable for the USB HDD or get a powered USB hub. Despite those two down notes, for the price, it’s a great buy.
