    Got the new replacement AC Adapter & Supply Cord for my Dell Laptop and I’m really happy with what I paid. I was specially surprised because I ordered the new Dekcell Battery as a combo with the AC Adapter/Cord and got them for a great price on Amazon.com.

    It was so cheap I shouldn’t be surprised it stopped working after only 4 months. I’ve bought other cheap AC adapters and they all still work. So I’ll probably chance it again.

    It was priced much much less than at the major stores and it works just as well as the original on. However, I am a bit concerned about it warming up with use. Since it’s my daughter’s computer I can’t say exactly how that compares with the original equipment but I just notice today that it felt hot. So I advised her (teenager) to never leave home with it plugged in to be on the safe side. So caution, this is a hot deal! So far I like it but we’re being careful.

    Unfortunately you get what you pay for. I chose the least expensive replacement adapter for my Dell laptop and the moment I plugged it in it emitted a scary clicking noise. I thought my laptop was going to be fried so I tossed it in the garbage. Next time, I go to Dell and pay for something reliable.

    The unit is as advertised and works great with my Dell Inspiron laptop. It was considerably less espensive than the Dell replacement part and so far has worked great. The cord is a little shorter than the original but should not be a problem for most users.
